Promotion of the book Transplantation of Kidney

On Wednesday, February 25, the promotion of the new book took place at the amphitheater of the Clinical Center of the Sarajevo University. A book titled "Transplantation of Kidney" was created as the joint effort of the main author Prof. Dr. Jasenko Karamehic and his colleagues'- assistants from several leading universities.
The author looked back at the beginnings of this new book.

We must emphasize that this book came into being as the result of the joint effort of medical professionals form Bosnia and Hercegovina and the United States of America. Eminent scientists from Universities Sarajevo, Tuzla as well as Ivy League American Universities Harvard and Yale invested immense effort in creation of this book. This book came to light with the significant assistance of the American embassy in Sarajevo.

The promoters of this book were distinguished professors Prof. Dr. Midhat Haracic and Prof. Dr. Faruk Dalagija. The moderator of this event was Doc. Dr. Mirza Dilic.

American Ambassador to Bosnia and Hercegovina, his Excellency Mr. Clifford Bond, and member of the Bosnian presidency Mr. Sulejman Tihic addressed book promoters and numerous guests.

Clinical Center of the Sarajevo University was the host of this promotion.
As the host representative, Doc. Dr. Faris Gavrankapetanovic welcomed numerous guests and speakers.

The official representative of the Clinical Center and Tuzla hospital and directory member Prof. Dr. Osman Sinanovic also greeted the authors and guests.

The author extended his thanks to all who assisted him in writing of this book. He also emphasized the fact that without their help this work could not be published.
