for Microbiology
Institute for microbiology,
immunology and parasitology is a professional, scientific and educative
institution in CCUS in the field of microbiology, immunology and parasitology.The
basic activities of Institute are:
- Laboratory for production of nutritious base and sanitary microbiology
deals with production of nutritious base and diagnostic serum,
control of sterility,
- Laboratory for bacteriology isolates and identifies causes of
bacterial infections, investigates sensitivity of microorganisms
and controls their resistance,
- Laboratory for immunology deals with immunodiagnostics of all
infectious diseases, and immunodiagnostics of rheumatoid and autoimmune
rheumatic diseases,
- Laboratory for virusology deals with the diagnostics of viral
infections applying electronic microscopy, molecular and immunologic
methods,
- Laboratory for parasitology and mycology diagnoses parasitic
and mycologic diseases microscopically, culturologically and serologically
- Laboratory for medical molecular microbiology deals with molecular
methods in microbiology and forensic medicine
Number
of specijalist: 13 specialists in microbiology and clinical
immunology.
