 Clinic for gynecology and obstetrics

Basic activities: Clinic for gynecology and obstetrics is a professional, scientific and educative institution in CCUS in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
In the field of perinatology, besides secondary level, Clinic performs the following diagnostic and therapeutical procedures from highly differentiated tertiary level:

  • early and late amniocentesis,
  • ultrasonographic diagnostics of congenital malformations,
  • ultrasound and Doppler analysis of fetal circulation,
  • severe forms of gestational diabetes,
  • severe forms of hypertension in pregnancy,
  • and most modern follow-up of pregnancy and assistance in birth along with monitoring of woman and fetus.

Neonatology department provides high level of neonatal care and taking care of newborn baby with low birth weight.
In term of gynecology, the Clinic performs:

  • all types of surgeries of cancers, tumors,
  • genital tract disorders, as well as
  • all forms of congenital anomalies.
  • There are endoscopic examinations such as: laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
  • The examination of family sterility is performed routinely.
  • The outpatients department provides services for secondary level of gynecological and perinatologycal problems.

  • Department of neonatology is placed at this Clinic, but according to its professional characteristics it is a part of Pediatric Clinic.
