of urgent medicine
Basic
activities:
Center of urgent medicine is a professional, scientific and educative
institution in CCUS in the field of urgent medicine.
The main aim and task is to recognize, evaluate and perform initial
treatment of all urgent conditions with the focus on injuries and
diseases, which endanger life. In the shortest period of time, as
a polyvalent interdisciplinar unit, with specialists in internal
medicine, surgery and anesthesiology and radiology, this Center
performs the following:
- Selection
of urgent surgical - internal - neurological conditions according
to proclaimed protocols,
- Stabilization
of patients,
- Initiation
of reanimation by intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures,
- Preparation
and transfer of patients for urgent hospitalization.
