Basic
activities:
Institute for
clinical chemistry and biochemistry is a professional, scientific
and educative institution in CCUS in the field of clinical chemistry
and biochemistry. Institute performs laboratory biochemical and
hematological diagnostics for all patients of clinics, institutes,
outpatients of Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, Canton of
Sarajevo and other regions. About 200 different types of diagnostic
procedures of primary, secondary and tertiary level are performed,
using modern analyzers and other technologies. The process of work
is organized in a way that laboratory diagnostics performs their
activities in 24 hours in departments: Laboratory for urgent diagnostics
and laboratory next to patient in Center of Urgent medicine, Cardiosurgery
etc. .
